The model railroad base occupies an area that is approximately 40 x 44 feet.
TVRM has the model railroad open to the public for viewing on Saturdays on specific dates hosted by TVMRi members. Check the Events Calendar for upcoming dates. Various numbers of trains will be running.
Operations mode: TVMRi members will operate multiple trains with full switching capabilities all under the direction of a dispatcher. Operating schemes are used and will be point to point from Danville, KY to Harriman Junction, TN. The layout is Digital Command Controlled (DCC) using the YaMoRC DCC system. Dispatching uses JMRI software.
